History

●    1994 October    CME Wire and Cable, Inc., a U.S. Corporation, begins operations under the name of CMSA, Inc.
          CMSA, Inc. establishes two subsidiaries located in South Carolina.

   CM Wire, Inc.
          

●
   CM Cables, Inc.
          CM Wire, Inc. forms a partnership with Elkins Pro Sales, Inc., which is later dissolved leaving CM Wire, Inc. as the surviving corporation.
●    1997 December    CM Wire, Inc. opens a new Distribution Center in California.
●    1998 June    CM Wire, Inc. opens a new Distribution Center in Texas.
●    1998 September    CM Wire, Inc. and CM Cables, Inc. merge with and into CMSA, Inc. and begins doing business as CME Wire & Cable, Inc.
●    1998 October    CME Wire & Cable, Inc. opens a new Distribution Center in Georgia.
●    1999 May    CME Wire & Cable, Inc. begins distribution of magnet wire with sales office located in San Antonio, Texas.
●    1999 July    CME Wire & Cable, Inc. relocates headquarters from South Carolina to Georgia.
●    2003 January    CME Wire & Cable, Inc. opens warehousing in Illinois.
●    2007 August    CME Wire & Cable, Inc. opens a new Distribution Center in San Antonio, Texas.
          

Today, with more than 50 years in business, the XIGNUX Group employees over 33,000 people throughout North and South America.  Additionally, the Xignux Group maintains strategic partnerships with companies such as Yazaki Corporation and General Electric Company.
