Tong Cheng Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd was established in 1973 by current director, Shih-Ding, Hsu   The lot size of factory has approximately 3500 m2 and is located at Hsin-Chuang Industrial Zon, Taipei Country, Taiwan.

  We startup as manufactured PVC Cable and Copper Ingots for most major local electric companies. However,  As time goes by, the demand of domestic market has been reduced gradually, we had moved the whole production lines of PVC & Copper Ingots to our first oversea plant in Bangkok, Thailand, to continue supplying for local Thai companies .

   In the past few years, We stay in touch with Europian market and stay closely with the trends. We are seeing the result of installing the start-of- art eqipments  increase the  capacity of supply . Providing schoolor education when is needed  in order to buildup staffs' knowledge. That 's how we promise  topline quality and sincere customer servies to clinets.

  At present, Tong Cheng succeed modify into a new aspect , which specializes in Enamlled Copper Winding Wire for Electrical Conductors. Not only that, we honor to be the first factory that manufactures Continuously Transposed Conduction (CTC)  and Enamlled Aluminum Wire in Taiwan.

1973    
• The factory and office estabilshed at current address.

1984
• Qualified by Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection.
• Approved by CNS.

1985
• Qualified by Development Bureau, Modea, and approved to be an official supplier for Shin Lin Electric & Engineering Co.

1987
• Established the first oversea company, Tong Cheng Electric Cable & Wire Co., in Bangkok, Thailand. Specialize in rectangular copper wire.

1990
• Discontinued to manufacture PVC cable & Copper Ingots in Taiwan, then had moved to oversea.

1991
• Began to anticipate Rectangular (Flat) Copper Wire.
• Trained and learned new skills for enamell copper wire in SMIT DRAAD Co, Holland.
• Continued to establish the second oversea company, International Metal Industry Co., LTD (IMI) in Bangkok, Thailand. Specialize in manufacturing Oxygen-Free Copper Wire, Copper Wire, Copper Bar & Tinned Copper Wire

1992
• Reconstructed our factory for installing a new enamell system purchased from SMIT DRAAD Co.(Holland).

1993
• Completed installation for a new enamell system and Succeed in trial process

1995
• Explored oversea markets, and approved to be an official supplier for ABB Group (Singapore Branch).

1997    
• Approved of ISO-9002 by S.G.S.
• Qualified by Development Bureau, Modea, and became an official suppliers for
Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corporation.

1998
• Planning new working system, modifying work progress-flow and upgrading new equipments.
 
1999
• Completely upgraded software & hardware for office and factory

2000
• Purchased Continuously Transposed Conduction (CTC) equipments.
• Innovated Enameled Rectangular Copper Winding Wires.
• Sat up a Dust-Free Room

2002
• Imported the CONFORM extrusion cladding production system.

2003
• Approved of ISO-9001 by S.G.S.
• Administrated E-work.
• Launched an official website.
• Renovated CI (corporate identity).

2005
• Purchased new enamell wire system.

2006
• Upgraded equipment of paper insulated wire.
• Developed CTC and combination of Paper Insulated wire made by 2 or more rectangular conductors.

2007
• Developed  CTC and Combination of Paper Insulated wire successfully.
• Started 5S and UP220

2008
• Received CTC and Combination of Paper insulated wire from Shihlin Electric

2009    
• Developed PAI Enamelled Rectangular Copper Wire.
• Developed Self-Bonding Enamelled Copper wire and Upgraded enamel wire system.

2010
• Purchased On-Line Enamel Wire Checking system.
• Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction : the first factory that develops and manufactures PVA & PEI Rectangular Enamelled Aluminum Wire.
• Developed Self-Bonding Enamelled Copper wire successfuly

2013
Granding opening for PT. TongCheng Magnet Wire.

  Since 1973, we began to supply copper wire, copper ingots, PVC, then Enamelled Copper Wire to present specialized in Enameled Rectangular (Flat) Copper Winding Wires for electric conductors. Our clients are diverse through out worldwide from electric transformers, power system, Auto engines to hi-tech components. We bring initial philosophy (honesty, integrity, practicality) to work with stuffs, managers, and client's.
