The company MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1926 in Wuppertal and has made their headquarters in the city ever since. The company has been involved in the development, manufacture and sales of cables and electrical lines since foundation. The sole site, located in the Wuppertal-Langerfeld area of the city since 1956, currently employs around 120 staff.

MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT is one of the smaller cable producers in Germany. The company has specialised in technically high-quality specialist cables and lines. These are, in particular, moveable control lines for applications in machine and plant construction, in the automated systems and control technology sector, as well as measuring and regulating technology. It has a comprehensive manufacturing range of normed and serial cables and of client-specific products in particular.

No matter how different the specific fields of business of our clients, they all have one thing in common: A need for tailored problem solutions, high-quality products as well as flexible and competent support services. Our declared aim is the consistent alignment with the needs of our clients.

Production

As manufacturers of technically demanding specialist products we have developed and produced a multitude of specialist cables over the years. A team of experienced staff constantly work to implement innovative technology whilst taking new substances and materials into account.

Quality management and environmental management play an essential and fundamental role in our company. Quality management - the constant improvement within the company and with regard to the quality of our products takes absolute priority. For this reason, we chose to become certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 as early as 1993.

All products are subject to strict and constant quality monitoring. We make no compromises regarding the selection of raw materials and recipes. This ensures the highest possible standards of quality and guaranteed suitability.

Environmental management - environmentally oriented company management has a tradition at MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT. As early as 1998, we created the basis for systematic environmental management by successfully certifying within the framework of the Eco Management and Audit Scheme. We established structures early which enabled a considerable improvement of the ecological aspects of our business activities, a development from after-care to preventive care environmental protection. Now, economic aspects and the contribution towards climate change cannot be denied.

The environmental management scheme is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001:2005.
