A company with tradition

KLASING develops, manufactures and markets low voltage special cables for the information and communication technology as well as in the audio and video field.
Our history dates back to 1913, when Hermann Klasing started to make cables, first in Poznan (today Poland), later in Berlin and after 1945 in Ingolstadt/Bavaria. In 1990 we relocated to Denkendorf where we opened one of the most modern cable factories in Europe.

In the course of our 100 year history at the forefront of cable technology our products have undergone substantial changes but not our objectives:

The manufacturing of high quality special cables to international standards for demanding customers and markets.

We regard the constant changes as challenges. Based on experience, research, and production technology we are constantly developing new products, many of these in direct cooperation with existing and new customers.

The concentration of all resources on developing, manufacturing, and marketing of clearly defined groups of low voltage cables has made us a leading international vendor in our industry.

Quality Philosophy

Cables are in most cases invisible but nevertheless substantial elements of all electrical and electronic devices and installations. As a manufacturer of special cables we are therefore confronted with a threefold challenge:

    Timely deliveries,
    Product quality
    Competitive cost

In order to meet these challenges and to ultimately ensure customer satisfaction, we are placing great emphasis on quality assurance. It is important to note that quality is not assured by final inspection but by integrating quality into the manufacturing process.

We achieve integration of quality assurance through the following measures:

    Supplier audits
    Incoming inspection
    Statistical process control
    Trace back mechanism
    Quality circles
    Training for everyone

In 1992 we were the first German cable manufacturer to receive the highly respected "Certified Supplier" award from the Rank Xerox organisation. Furthermore KLASING KABEL has been approved according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1994, and has been following a proven environmental management conforming to DIN EN ISO 14001 since July 1997.
