Erstwhile Uniflex cables limited (UCL) , was a  publicly listed (BSE) entity  and one of the largest and leading Cable company in India serving its customers since 1981 with its wide range of cables by its'well known Trade name UNICAB & UNIFLEX.

It's  plant is ideally located at Umbergaon, Dist. Valsad, Gujarat (India) just 140 kms. from Mumbai. The Plant is well equipped with advance manufacturing and testing facilities having the largest range of electrical and telecommunication cables and has five major divisions.  In 2012, UCL amalgamated with Apar Industries Ltd (AIL) and carrying it's business as a Cable Unit of AIL under the name and style as "Apar Industries Ltd (UNIT: Uniflex Cables)"

NEW PROMOTER & Change in MANAGEMENT

Apar Industries Ltd (AIL) a listed (BSE & NSE), profit making and consistent dividend paying Company, acquired substantial equity shares with voting rights of the Company from Baid family members in 2008, the then promoter group of the Company, resulting in change in control and management of the Company. The company Uniflex Cables Limited is now merged with Apar Industries Limited, thus becoming one of its units.
Apar Industries Ltd (AIL)  has now three business divisions;

    Transformer and speciality oils
    Conductor
    Uniflex Cables Division

Each of these units have significant market share position in its' segment.
