TKD history

2012

TKD ITALIA, the subsidiary company of TKD KABEL GmbH, was founded in October 2012 in Italy.
2008

• The individual companies of the TKD Group HPM KABEL, Kabel WÄCHTER, WITT+ARNOLD and TKD LOGISTICS merge into TKD KABEL GmbH.

• Expansion of the Logistics Centre in Nettetal with approximately 3,000 square metres. The fully automated high rack warehouse is now able to accommodate almost 12,000 euro-pallets.
2007

Foundation of TKD POLSKA Sp. z o.o.. Subsidiary of KABEL WÄCHTER in Poland.
2005

• Optimization of the TKD-Organization.
• Acquisition of TKV Electronic in Kaltenberg by KABEL WÄCHTER.
2004

Relocation of WITT + ARNOLD in a new administration and store building and integration of the company S+S SPEZIALKABEL.
2002

• Optimization of the TKD-Organization in Southern Germany.
• Acquisation of S+S SPEZIALKABEL GmbH Hagen by TKH Group.
• Acquisition of HPM KABEL Ditzingen by KABEL WÄCHTER.
• Acquisition of the sister company HPM CÂBLES by KABEL WÄCHTER.
1999

• Completion of the TKD-Logistics Center in Nettetal.
• Re-location of HPM KABEL Nord to Nettetal.
1998

Foundation of TKD - Twentsche Kabel Deutschland.

Foundation of HPM CÂBLES Sarl. Formerly the sales office for HPM, today for KABEL WÄCHTER.

Foundation of KAWEFLEX Wire & Cables. Sales office for KABEL WÄCHTER in the USA.

Acquisition of KABEL WÄCHTER by the TKH Group.

Foundation of KABEL WÄCHTER in Filderstadt, near Stuttgart, by couple Konrad and Karin Wächter.

Foundation of HPM KABEL in Ditzingen, near Stuttgart, by Hans-Peter Mannl and Hermann Geissler.

Foundation of WITT + ARNOLD in Hagen by Paul and Hans Witt, as well as Reinhard Arnold
