Hefei Smarter Technology Group Corp. is affiliated to China National United Equipment Group Corp. It is located at state-level Hefei Economic-Technological Development Zone, and is generally acknowledged as leading enterprise for cable machinery in China.

    From the early 1980s, Hefei Smarter began to specialize in the field of wire ＆ cable machinery. The product variety and market share has been increasing year by year and keeps national forefront position stably. Therefore, Hefei Smarter is identified as the "Most Competitive" and "Most Influential Brand" enterprise by China Electrical Equipment Industry Association

    For twenty years, Hefei Smarter has been focusing on research and innovation of wire and cable machinery and completed the establishment of State-level Technology Center with undertaking numbers of national and provincial scientific and technological project. Currently, more than sixty types of products covering power cable machinery, communication cable machinery and optical fiber cable machinery have been developed, Dozens of them have obtained national patents and most of them are recommended as "Quality Reliable Products" by China Industry Association.

Company History 

◆ In 1958, Hefei Light Industry Die Factory comes into existence, which mainly produces glass die, non-standard light-industry machinery

◆ On July 26, 1986, in order to be propitious to develop new product, exploit new market and develop transverse economic contact, after getting the permission from the Hefei Economic Commerce Committee, Hefei Light Industry Die Factory adds its plant named "Hefei Electrician Machinery Factory", changing their business to produce wire & cable professional equipment.

◆On June 2, 1994, Hefei Economic committee, Program Committee and System changing department, who issue documents together, in order to exert enterprise's advantage, they agreed to establish "Hefei Smarter Electrician Group" basing on "Hefei Light Industry Die Factory", Hefei Electrician Machinery Factory add Hefei Smarter Electrician Group as their company name.

◆ On November 12, 1996, in order to introduce international advanced technology, authorized by Hefei Foreign Economic commerce committee, Hefei Electrician machinery Factory and Walsin (Shanghai) Investment Co,. Ltd invest together in a new enterprise named Hefei Walsin Electrician machinery Co., Ltd, on 30 September, 1997, Hefei Walsin Electrician machinery Co., Ltd changed its name to Hefei Walsin Electrician Co., Ltd, which is in charge of designing, developing and selling products, Hefei Electrician Machinery Factory is in charge of manufacturing, quality control and after-sales service.

◆ On December 27, 1996, in order to establish modern enterprise system, authorized by People's Government Of Anhui Province, Hefei Walsin Electrician Machinery Factory changed their system integrally and established Hefei Smarter Electrician Joint Stock Co., Ltd.

◆ On August 27, 1999, they separate the assistant from the main parts, authorized by People's Government Of Anhui Province, Hefei Smarter Electrician stock Co., Ltd, which specialized in Designing, manufacturing and selling electrician machinery, moved their plants to Hefei Economic-Technological Development Zone and established Hefei Smarter Cable Machinery Joint Stock Co., Ltd.

◆ In April, 2005,  inner employee's stock, which occupy 24.75% of the company stock was transferred to China National Building Material & Light Industry Machinery Group Corporation(China National Building Material & Light Industry Machinery Group Corporation charged name for China United Equipment Group company in April 2010.)

◆ In September, 2005, Hefei Industry Investment Joint Stock Co., Ltd transfer their stock, which occupy 72.5% of the company, to China Light Industry Machinery Group Corporation, thus the Corporation has already held the stock accumulative total 97.25% of the company and became their subsidiary company.

◆ In January, 2007, by the way of developing the company, Hefei Smarter Cable Machinery Joint Stock co., Ltd changed their name to Hefei Smarter Technology Co., Ltd.

◆ In April, 2007, all stocks of Hefei Walsin Electrician Co., Ltd was absorbed by Hefei Smarter Technology Co., Ltd for combination together. All the debts and creditor's rights of Hefei Walsin Electrician Co., Ltd were in charge of Hefei Smarter Technology Co., Ltd.
