BRAIDING MACHINE TYPE RS16

The Wardwell RS 16 is ideally suited for braiding of super fine wire as small as 0.02 mm (52 awg). The RS 16 reduces the foot print of traditional lever arm machines by 30%, allowing a more efficient use of floor space.

New applications require new approaches. The RS 16 braids super fine wire over cables, mandrels and tubes such as:

- Mini coaxial cables

- Micro coaxial cables

- Special cables

- Medical catheters

This machine is equipped with all standard features, including payoff and take-up for DIN 355 reels and offers additional options:

- Braiding pattern 1 x 1

- Multiple payoff and take-up options

- Empty bobbin detector with positioning system

- Longitudinal tape attachment
