Leader in the manufacturing of tailor-made cables

We had started our activity in the field of electrical cables production in the 50s. We perceived the need of satisfying the market requirements with offers aimed at meeting single needs with high quality products. Time after time this activity consolidated and developed and in 1975 Cavicel, incorporating the previous activity, was founded.

Technology, attention towards the customer's requirements and Quality culture were strengthened. Nowadays Cavicel is present with its products in over 50 countries and is well known thanks to its quality and continuous and more and more advanced solution research.

The company is located in Pioltello, in the outskirts of Milan. In 2006 the new facility has been built and all the activities have been transferred there.
The new head office reflects the main concepts of Cavicel: attention to interpersonal relationships, attention towards quality and research of innovative and technological advanced solutions. We invite you to visite our new facility where we can show you who we are.

People often speak about Quality, but for us Quality is not only referred to the products, but is a mixture of elements that characterize the company.
In fact, we prefer to speak about Values. Values in the relationships with people, both internally and externally, whether they are customers or suppliers; values in the behaviour, in the choices, in all our activities.
Since its establishment, Cavicel has always paid a great attention to personal relationships and also this is a value we constantly share.
It is important that everything is developed and lived coherently.
From the product to our people, from the working environment to all our activities, we would like to always express our values with the aim of reaching a serious and long-lasting growth with our customers.

    constantly research a spread sense of Quality in all our activities, in order to achieve a complete satisfaction for all the people involved;

QUALITY

Since the beginning, Cavicel has operated in qualified markets, including the nuclear and military one, by always paying a great deal of attention to process and good quality products. The first Cavicel Manual of Quality dates back to the 80s and was arranged according to ANSI 45.2 standards for nuclear sector and NATO AQAP (Allied Quality Assurance Publications) standards for the military one.
Quality System is certified according to the ISO 9000 standards since the beginning of the 90s and it is actually certified by CSQ in Italy and LPCB in UK, according to ISO 9001:2008 standards.

All our production is tested according to internal defined standards. Our products and Quality documentation is stored for 10 years in order to assure a complete traceability of our products.

Since 2010 Cavicel has been ISO 14001 Certified, to demonstrate the attention of the Company for the environmental subjects.
According to our quality internal management system, Cavicel continuously develops new solutions and materials able to achieve performances more and more pushed to extremes.

Our Technical Department constantly works close to our customers to study and solve the prospected problems.

Environmental sustainability

Technology must proceed at 360°, that is to say that it must consider and respect everything we have around including the environment.
Over the years, this concept has been acquired and it represents an additional engagement we have to pursue with reliability and also with satisfaction.
The achievement of the ISO 14001 certification is an excellent result per se, but it can also be considered as the first step towards the correct direction.
Also when we have built our new seat, we have thought about a structure where technology could be wisely applied to optimize the energy resources and, whenever possible, to handle the systems in a rational way with the highest efficiency and saving (heating, conditioning, ventilation, light).
The external environment is highly respected, even integrated with the working places, while leaving a wide space to the nature so that it could always be appreciated also by those working inside the structure.
