Hi
I am working for CBI Electric cable and manufacturing company in south africa as a Junior process Engineer.
Our production process starts from hard drawing 8 mm rod to 2.4 mm wire, then from there its drawn to different wire sizes up to 0.2 mm.
The wires are annealed using electric annealing machine where after removing the bobbin from the machine the wire will start to change to reddish colour after 24 hours during storage or after bunching process.

basically we have two types of discoloration which is:

the wires that are disciloured from the inner layers
the wires that are discoloured in outer layers

Please advice

We are currently using drawlub C  from petrofer at the moment and we did perform bacterial test, ph and lubricity test.the lubricant is okay.
