Markets

OIL GAS PETROCHEMICAL

As a proven and approved manufacturer to the oil, gas and petro-chemical industries, Deca continues to expand its industrial product solutions. Understanding the demanding requirements for a long life cycle product that keeps working through many rugged applications, Deca has strived to meet or exceed the industrial requirements.

With continued development in all three markets to meet global demand, Deca will work closely with all entities, end user, engineer, distributor and installer to offer power, control, instrumentation, thermocouple, fieldbus, and speciality cables. We will continue to listen and refine our products to meet the demand in these markets.

POWER AND UTILITY

Factors such as population growth, economic growth and greater use of electrical appliances and equipment are expected to continue to drive electricity demand in the coming years. (Natural Resources Canada)

Deca knows the need for safe, secure cables for the utility business. Supplying power, control, instrumentation, and thermocouple cables in both standard and low smoke options to the utility market is one way Deca can help with this requirement. Maintaining close contact with utilities across Canada and understanding the different standards at each utility, keeps Deca astride with the market needs.

SOLAR

Solar technology is quickly gaining ground in Canada. The rapid growth in the development of photovoltaics in recent years indicates this product will continue to accelerate as programs across the country come on line. The CSA Standards requiring an approved CSA Photovoltaic Cable have also now been implemented. Deca Cables meets all requirements for your Solar Cable needs to this new standard. We will work closely with the end user in developing a cable for specific applications while ensuring CSA standards are also met.

TRANSPORTATION

Infrastructure growth is continuing with new roads, rail and airports across North America. Approved Airport Lighting Cables, Traffic Signal Cables to meet provincial and industrial standards and power, control and instrumentation products in both standard and low smoke, for the safety in Rail Applications are all products Deca can assist with. Deca has been supplying the transportation industry for over 40 years and is a recognized manufacturer of these products across Canada, holding contracts at many end users.

MINING

$111 Billion Mining Assets cover the global markets currently with more coming on stream. As new demand for lithium, copper, aluminum, and potash continue to rise, so will the requirements for cables to supply these projects.

Power, Control, Instrumentation, Thermocouple and Speciality Electronic cables are all part of the Deca portfolio to meet these requirements. Offering both CSA and UL solutions, Deca can design and manufacture standard and custom cable for mining applications.

MANUFACTURING/OEM

For over 40 years Deca Cables have supplied the OEM and Manufacturing markets with quality electronic cables. With projects like the Bell Centre in Toronto, Air Canada Centre and Molson Indy in our portfolio, Deca's products are designed to meet the electrical standards of today's electrical equipment manufacturers. Shielded, unshielded pairs and multi conductor cables in standard and plenum constructions are available to the most rigid, current standards to ensure the right connection the first time.
