WireMasters Starts Construction on a New 33,000-square-Foot Distribution Center

LGE Design Build started construction on a new 33,000-square-foot distribution center for WireMasters, a distributor of wire, cable and associated electrical components for cable harnesses serving the military, aerospace and defense industry.

The new distribution center, expected to be complete in early 2017, will serve the southwestern United States. Located at 1748 N. Higley Rd. in Mesa, the building will be near Boeing and other clients at Falcon Field Airport.

After establishing an office in Mesa only four years ago, WireMasters has grown to require the new building, which is about three times larger than its previous nearby leased space.

"WireMasters continues to grow and we are eager to establish more permanent roots in Mesa," said Brent Hill, a member of the WireMasters' family ownership group. His dad started working in WireMasters' warehouse in 1991 and eventually became a principal owner.

WireMasters distributes materials used in airplanes, helicopters, unmanned aircraft, aviation wire, ships, missiles, bombs as well as military ground vehicles. Clients include OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), MROs (maintenance, repair and overhaul) facilities, cable harness assembly facilities and aerospace industry completion centers.
