Cords Cable Ind bags orders from Leighton Welspun Contractors

Cords Cable Industries Ltd. said it had secured couple of orders valued Rs.8 crore from its newly added prestigious client, Leighton Welspun Contractors, part of the $23billion Australia-based Leighton Holdings.

The scope of orders covers supply of instrumentation cables towards oil exploration and power generation and distribution projects undertake in Rajasthan in India.

At the BSE, Cords Cable Industries shares are currently trading at Rs.16.10, down 5.85 percent from the previous close.
