Anixter takes Milestone Systems' top distributor honors

Anixter was named "2012 Distributor of the Year for the Americas" by Milestone Systems at Milestone's annual partner event, held February 18-19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Milestone recognized Anixter for its high quality service, superior technical focus, and effective partnerships across the Americas, allowing the distributor to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

"Anixter has been awarded with the Milestone Distributor of the Year honor for an ongoing and continually developing close relationship at all levels of the organization combined with excellent technically focused added value throughout, working in full cooperation with us," commented Eric Fullerton, chief sales and marketing officer of Milestone Systems. "This has resulted in high customer satisfaction and outstanding year-over-year revenue growth."

Another high profile award at the conference went to BCDVideo, who was awarded as Milestone's Technology Partner of the Year. BCDVideo, who sells exclusively through Anixter, is a global provider specializing in IP security storage and intelligent building networks. BCDVideo brings together best-in-class products, ranging from 4TB to 600TB, all powered by HP. This includes the Fusion series, a Milestone-ready analog/IP hybrid unit.

Milestone also announced that new versions of its XProtect VMS will soon be released, as well as a brand-new product release called XProtect Expert for medium and large installations, which will be showcased at the ISC West show in Las Vegas April 10-12, where Anixter will be exhibiting at booth #25059. Milestone will also be demonstrating its complete XProtect 2013 portfolio at the IFSEC conference in Birmingham, UK, May 13-16.
