Bangkok Cable Co., Ltd. was established, commencing its operations, in August 1964 with registered capital of four million baht whereas its shareholders,management executives, and engineers are all Thais. The company also obtained investment incentive license from the Board of Investment (BOI).

        Its factory was situated on 36-railand at 93 Moo 11, Soi Cable, Suksawad Road, Tambol Naiklongbangplakod, Amphur Prasamutchedee, Samutprakarn (BCC1) and 215 railand at 39/1 Moo 1, Bangpakong-Chachoengsao, Tambol Sanphudas, Amphur Banpho, Chachoengsao (BCC2).



Bangkok Cable Co., Ltd. was established in August 1964 with a registered capital of four million Baht. All shareholders, executives and engineers were Thai.
Its first factory (BCC1) was situated on 36-railand at 93 Moo 11, Soi Cable, Suksawad Road, Tambol Naiklongbangplakod, Amphur Prasamutchedee, Samutprakarn. And secondary factory (BCC2) 215 railand at 39/1 Moo 1, Bangpakong-Chachoengsao, Tambol Sanphudas, Amphur Banpho, Chachoengsao.

         1965    : Installed furnaces and copper rolling machine.       
              : Commenced production of PVC insulated copper conductor cable.       
                      
         1971    : Collaborate technical and academic metters with Tatsuta Co., Ltd. of Japan.       
                      
         1972    : Increased registered capital to 10 million baht.       
                      
         1976    : Installed 9.53 mm. aluminum rod producing machine of continuous system for production of   aluminum condutor cable with production capacity
  of 18,000 tons per year.       
                      
         1977    : Increased registered capital to 25 million baht.       
                      
         1980    : Expanded the building and incresed production area covering       
                18,0000 sq.m. Collaborated with Hitachi Cable Co., Ltd. for academic       
                assistance on production telephone cable.       
                      
         1984    : Increased registered capital to 50 million baht.       
                      
         1985    : Set up Hitachi Bangkok Cable Co.,Ltd. under joint venture agreement between Hitachi Co.,Ltd.       
                and Kanematsu Coporation of Japan with production telephone cable.       
                      
         1987    : Joined Thai Hitachi Enamel Wire Co., Ltd. under joint venture agreement.       
                      
         1989    : Increased registered capital to 100 million baht.       
              : Joined Phelp Dodge Thailand Co., Ltd. under joint venture agreement       
                to set up    Thai Copper Rod Co., Ltd. Which produced 8.00 mm.       
                copper rod with production capacity of 40,000 tons per year.       
                      
         1992    : Increased registered capital to 200 million baht.
: Installed 115 kV high voltage cable extruder machine.       
                      
         1994    : Installed Tandem line and SZ line extruder to produce VAF, VFF,       
                VCT, and NYY cables.       
              : ConstructedBangkok Cable Co., Ltd (Bangpakong Plant)       
                at Ban Pho District, Chachoengsoa Province.       
              : Installeed Contrirod machine at Bangpakong plant to produce 8.00 mm.       
                copper rod with production capacity of 100,000 tons per year.       
                      
         1995    : Incresed registered capital to 500 million baht.       
              : Modify insulation extrusion building at Samutprakarn plant.       
              : Installed Tandem line No. 2 cable extruder machine for production       
                of VAF, VFF cable at Samutprakarn plant.       
              : Installed Tandem line cable extruder machine for production of low       
                smoke halogen-free at Samutprakarn plant.       
              : Installed medium voltage cable extruder machine for production       
                PIC, SAC cables at Bangpakong plant.       
                      
         1996    : Received ISO 9002 quality management system accreditation from       
                accrediatation from RWTUV (Thailand) Ltd. at Samutprakarn Plant.       
                      
         1997    : Received ISO 9002 quality management system accreditation from the       
                office of  Thai Industrial Standard Institute (TISI) at Samutprakarn Plant.       
              : Increased registerd capital to 800 million baht.       
                      
         1998    : Received ISO 9002 quality management system accreditation from       
                accrediatation from RWTUV (Thailand) Ltd. at Bangpakong Plant.       
                      
         1999    : Canceled assessment inspection for repeat audit from RWTUV       
                at Samutprakarn plant.       
              : Increased registered capital to 1,300 million baht.       
                      
         2000    : Passed repeat audit for license extension of MASCI.       
              : Installed fire and flame testing laboratory for cables.       
                      
         2002    : Received ISO 9001:2000 quality management system accreditation from       
                MASCI and LPCB at Samutprakarn plant.       
              : Received ISO 9001:2000 quality management system accreditation from       
                RWTUV (Thailand) Ltd. at Bangpakong plant.       
                      
         2005    : Received TIS 18001:2542 and OHSAS 18001:1999 occupational health and safety       
                management system from MASCI at Bangpakong plant.       
                      
         2006    : Received TIS 17025:2000 from Thai Industrial Standards Institute at Bangpakong plant.

        Bangkok Cable Co., Ltd. started out operations in 1964 based on a foundation of sincerity, honesty and customer commitment. Since our inception, we have consistently focused on developing the quality and standard of our products, gradually earning the trust and reliance of our customers. This quality commitment has enabled us to grow and develop continuously to the point that we are now a leader in the manufacture of electrical wire and cable in Thailand.

To build upon this record of success amassed over the past five decades, the company will continue to focus on our primary goal of maximizing customer satisfaction by emphasizing product development to serve the diverse needs of our customers and to achieve the highest international standards. Product development will be achieved in several ways, such as through the use of the latest production machinery and advanced technology, efficient cost control, creative and up-to-date marketing strategies and continuous human resource development. We will also improve our ability to adapt to change in the social and business environment and create mechanisms to boost our regional competitiveness, to coincide with integration in the ASEAN Economic Community or AEC, as well as at the international level. Indeed, the company is confident and ready to move forward dynamically based on a firm foundation of sustainable growth in future.
