The company Garnisch GmbH Special Cable Production, which was founded in 1953, is a mid-sized manufacturer of heat resistant cables and tubings. Its staff of 60+ and its ever-developing technology lead to the highest per-capita-turnover of the region it is located in. Furthermore our flexibility and shortest delivery times rewarded us with a high-profile image in the cable branch.

These specialized markets demand custom-made products rather than standard ones. So we have tradionally a very close relationship with our customers. Our skilled and experienced staff is happy to help you bridging the gap between technology and economy.

History

    1953
    the company was founded by Wilhelm Garnisch in Rennertshofen near Neuburg/Donau. At that time only flexible insulation tubes were manufactured.
    1967
    the company was taken over by Ing.grad. Rolf Raab. This marks also the beginning of the production of heat-resistant cables.
    1979
    the company moved to Memmingen/Allgäu. After the first factory building was completed there another five construction phases followed until now.
    1993
    the company was transformed into a limited company with a deposit of DM 500,000.--.
    1998
    a change of generation and leadership took place: Dipl.-Ing. Volker Raab took over the position of executive general manager.
    1999
    a further production site was taken in operation at Woringer Str. 27.
    2002
    another production site has been opened at Woringer Str. 23.
    2004
    2004 the company has been certified according to ISO 9001:2000 by TÜV Süddeutschland.
    2008
    the company's name changes to Garnisch GmbH Special Cable Production.

We use our ressources to serve four different markets:

    Heat-resistant connecting cables for electrical engineering in general, i.e. manufacturers of household appliances, lighting appliances, e-motors, industrial applications engaged with energy, chemistry or aerospace etc.
    Temperature measuring cables for manufacturers of electronic temperature sensors and for the engine-building industry etc.
    Heating cables for manufacturers of floor heating systems and for industrial applications.
    Flexible insulation sleevings for manufacturers of e-motors and cable beams.
