The amokabel group

Amokabel is a privately owned, Scandinavian group of companies producing different types of conductors, cables and consumer packed products. We are leading in our branch of business when it comes to flexibility in the production and short delivery times. Focusing on high quality and minimal impact on the environment, we are always working on new innovations and developing new products.

By a specialized product range, we have managed to become market leading of the segments in which we operate. Beyond our core business, we also invest in wind and water power and we are now self sufficient of green energy.

The first company in the amokabel group was founded in 1992. By constant development and modernization of our machinery, we have been able to build a very profitable and successful group of companies. Our constant pursuits for growth lead to several new establishments of producing companies during the 1990´s. During the 2000´s we have started two sales companies in Norway, and become part owners of factories in India and Hungary. We have also invested in expanding our production facilities. Today we dispose over 27 000m².

Our factory and head office are located in Alstermo, which is 70 km from both Växjö and Kalmar. We can produce thousands of different cables, and possess both the machinery and the know how to build constructions and produce entirely in accordance to the customer's specific requirements.

We are driven by constant development of our products and processes, and to always be associated with high quality. To us delivery time, quality and flexibility are the most important qualities of a good supplier. Our producing companies themselves are responsible for the whole process, from inquiry to delivery. This result in short delivery times and makes our staff perform their best to fulfill the demands and whishes of our customers.

By reinvesting most of the profits in the companies, the amokabel group has become very solid financially. The culture of our companies is built on common sense, simplicity and long term thinking. Thanks to that, we consider ourselves to be well prepared for future expansions, without having to abstain profits.

Quality and environment

All the companies within the amokabel group are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Bild kvalitet och miljöOur certificates are issued by for example INTERTEK, DNV and UL.  To ensure compliance to international norms and requirements, our products are continually inspected by INTERTEK och UL. All raw materials such as copper and PVC are purchased from the leading manufacturers in Europe. We work hard to replace PVC as insulation material, and today we can offer most of our products in halogen free materials.

Quality policy

Our main target is to always deliver products meeting the requirements of the customers as well as current regulations and recommendations. The guideline is to work for efficiency in developing and producing high quality products.

Environmental policy

Our goal is to run our business with the least possible environmental impact. Through our environmental policy we undertake to follow the current laws, rules and regulations applicable. We work hard to minimize the environmental risks identified in the production, and continually developing efficient environmental improvements. As a result of this, we have invested in several wind and water power stations, and today we are self sufficient of green electricity.
