Leader Cable Industry Berhad is a power and telecommunications cable manufacturer with more than 36 years of experience, having begun back in March 1976. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of HNG Capital Sdn Bhd.

Over the years, we have grown to become Malaysia's single largest cable manufacturer. We are also a specialist turnkey contractor for high voltage electrical power cable projects.

We started exporting our telephone cables overseas in 1987 and by the same year, the export market made up 50 per cent of our company's total turnover.

In 1990, due to our successful penetration of the overseas market, we were honoured with the Prime Minister's Award for Export Excellence. In 1999, we received the excellence award again in recognition of our success.

Management Team

Leader Cable Industry Berhad is helmed by our Managing Director, Mr Azhar Ariffin with a team of sales and marketing experts for domestic and international sales as well as production experts who run the cable plants.

Wire and Cable Manufacturing

Our manufacturing plants are situated at the Tikam Batu Industrial Estate, Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia. They are equipped with the most advance facilities for manufacturing wires and cables in the Asia-Pacific region.

At Tikam Batu Industrial Estate, we operate 2 wire and cable manufacturing factories: a 4-hectare telecommunication cable factory and a 6-hectare power cable factory. An added synergistic advantage for many of our customers is that our groups produce copper rods and aluminium rods for our own usage.
