SBEE Cables Timeline

    1979: Incorporated as M/s. Mahadev Vidyut Udyog Pvt. Ltd., was engaged in manufacture of components for lighting industry. 
    1995: Discontinued production of components for lighting industry and started manufacturing of submersible winding wires, submersible flat cables and domestic wires under brand "SBEE"
    2004: Rechristened as SBEE Cables (India) Ltd. Expanded range of wires and cables by manufacturing of LT Panel wires, Power and Control Cables, Instrumentation and Signalling Cables, Braided cables, Aerial Bunched Cables etc etc.
    2008: Introduced HFFR (Halogen Free Fire Retardant)/ZHFR (Zero Halogen Fire retardant) single and multi-core wires for domestic as well as industrial application to support greener environment and human safety.
    2010: Launched FS Cables (Fire Survival) product certified for relevant Fire Survival Test from CPRI, Bangalore & ERDA, Vadodara.
    2012: Introduced SBEE CY (Copper Braided) and Steel Braided (SY) Special Cables for the machine tool industry.

Manufacturing

For Copper / Aluminium wire drawing

    PLC Controlled Rod Break down machines, Intermediate Wire Drawing Machines, High Speed Fine & Multi Wire Drawing Machine, and Bunching machine procured from renowned German and Italian Manufacturer.

For Extrusion

    PLC controlled high speed extrusion machines for insulation as well as sheathing process with online diameter controlling facility.

Laying / Armouring / Stranding

    High Speed lines for armouring of GI Wires and Strips, stranding of aluminium and copper conductor and insulated core laying up to 61 nos

Taping / Braiding Machine

    16 & 24 carrier braiding machine to braid copper, tinned copper and steel wires from world renowed German manufacturer.
    Multilayer taping machine to tape – polyester/aluminium myler/teflon/mica/bopp imported from renowed French and German manufacturers.

Tinning Machine

    High speed hot dipped tinning machine for coating of tin on the copper conductor for fine as well as intermediate conductors.


Quality


    Incoming raw materials test for product conformity with in house laid standards
    In-house testing facility to test the electrical and mechanical properties of wires and cables produced as per the relevant standards such as IS 694, IS 7098, IS 1554, IS 14255, UL and CE standard.
    Products manufactured are regularly tested in third party test labs such as CPRI, ERDA, NTH as per the customer's requirements.
